Wadena County is located in north-central Minnesota. The county seat is Wadena, and the county has a population of about 14,100 people. The economy is primarily based on agriculture, specifically crops such as wheat, barley, soybeans and corn. The county is also home to several lakes and rivers, which provide opportunities for fishing, boating, and swimming.
