McLeod County is located in the east-central part of Minnesota, and its county seat is Glencoe. The county has a population of around 36,700 people and covers an area of about 505 square miles. The county is primarily agricultural. McLeod county also has several lakes and rivers which provides some outdoor recreation like hunting and fishing.
